Bird nests is the nests of swiftlet birds, which is made out of the male swiftlet’s edible saliva. In China, bird nests are commonly used as a beauty food. According to scientific research, birds nests contains high level of collagen and amino acid that helps smooth skin. One thing that makes bird nests stand out is that bird nests is rich in epidermal growth factor (EGF), which is responsible for skin and tissue repair (Soh 2018). As more and more French are seeking natural beauty products, bird nests should catch the opportunity to enter the French market.
In a country that is famous for its fashion and beautiful women, it is not surprising that aging intimidates becomes something French people are intimidated of. The French are constantly looking for products that help them maintain youthfulness. France Beauty and Personal Care Products market is projected to grow at a CAGR of 78.1% during the forecast period 2019-2024 (Mordor Intelligence, 2020). And today the French are showing increased interest in more natural products. To attract French consumers, Bird nests, a natural youth enhancer, will be a perfect market match, as natural as it sounds, should be able to attract French consumers.
