A company that I’m interested in would be the UFC. The UFC is a mixed martial arts organization that showcases fighters from around the world who specialize in various forms of martial arts including kickboxing, karate, jiu-jitsu, judo, and wrestling. The UFC has went from a brand who originally was described as human cockfighting to a billion dollar business with a partnership with ESPN. The UFC also sells clothing and gym wear for sports and gym enthusiasts. There is a broad base of people who watch UFC from all genders and age ranges, but one way to narrow my target market would be by polling the ESPN Plus subscribers who have to subscibe to ESPN Plus services in order to watch UFC pay per view events. By capturing the age and demographical information of the people who are subscribers who are watching the events the most, this allows the UFC to know their main base of customers to market to.
