Conditioning and Types of Memory
The most simple types of learning are classical conditioning and operant conditioning. Read the intro and first section of chapter 12 (ch 13 in the 11th edition) about studies in animals where they used techniques such as lesioning and numbing brain regions using cooling or drugs to see how conditioning was affected. This section of module 12.1 is called “Localized Representation of Memory”.
Now read the section titled “Types of Memory in module and make sure you understand the terms.
